RIP John McCain

John Sidney McCain III (August 29, 1936 – August 25, 2018) was an American politician and military officer who served as a United States Senator from Arizona from 1987 until his death in 2018. He previously served two terms in the United States House of Representatives and was the Republican nominee for President of the United States in the 2008 election, which he lost to Barack Obama.

RIP Billy Graham

William Franklin Graham Jr. KBE (November 7, 1918 – February 21, 2018), known as Billy Graham, was an American evangelical Christian evangelist, an ordained Southern Baptistminister, who became well known internationally after 1949. He is widely regarded as the most influential preacher of the 20th century.^[2] He held large indoor and outdoor rallies; sermons were broadcast on radio and television, some still being re-broadcast into the 21st century.^[3] In his six decades of television, Graham was principally known for hosting the annual Billy Graham Crusades, which he began in 1947, until he concluded in 2005, at the time of his retirement.

2017 NYE pick-up - I.M. Pei

In the most contentious pick in NYE history, The Betty White Tumblers add I.M. Pei and drop Bob Barker. The original pick was to be Jake LaMotta, the Raging Bull. A video was made and everything, but alas Bryn did not accept. So I.M. Pei it is.

RIP Zsa Zsa Gabor

 Zsa Zsa Gabor (/ˈʒɑːʒɑː ˈɡɑːbɔːr, ɡəˈbɔːr/ ZHAH-zhah GAH-bor; born Sári Gábor; February 6, 1917 – December 18, 2016) was a Hungarian-American actress and socialite.
Gabor began her stage career in Vienna and was crowned Miss Hungary in 1936.^[1] She emigrated to the United States in 1941 and became a sought-after actress with "European flair and style," with a personality that "exuded charm and grace."^[2] Her first film role was a supporting role in Lovely to Look At. She later acted in We're Not Married! and played one of her few leading roles in Moulin Rouge (1952), directed by John Huston, who described her as a "creditable" actress.^[3] Outside of her acting career, Gabor was best known for having had nine husbands, including hotel magnate Conrad Hilton and actor George Sanders. She once stated, "Men have always liked me and I have always liked men. But I like a mannish man, a man who knows how to talk to and treat a woman – not just a man with muscles."^[4]

Fidel Castro and Nancy Reagan Drinks

Zack and Bryn ventured to The Brixton happy hour to knock off a couple death drinks. They started with a Cuba Libre to toast Fidel Castro.

 
 Then Bryn sprung for a couple cosmos to toast former first lady Nancy Reagan. The bartender said they used to call them "old pussys" at her old bar since that's who ordered them. It was a fitting tribute.
